NBCUniversal Cable names reality chief
NBCUniversal Cable has named E! chief operating officer Steve Dolcemaschio as prexy of their reality studio. Dolcemaschio will oversee the division, presently referred to as Comcast Entertainment Galleries but set to become re-named early the coming year. He'll transition from his E! role, that they has held for six years, within the next several several weeks. Comcast Entertainment Galleries is promoting and created such programs as "The Soup," "Fashion Police" and "Ice Loves Coco" for E!, "Giuliana and Bill" for Style and "Baggage" for GSN. Development professional Vice president Jay James will are accountable to Dolcemaschio. Dolcemaschio became a member of E! in 2000 and it has overseen numerous regions of the business's business, from production and tech procedures to business and legal matters. Formerly, he was COO and chief financial officer for BBDO West in La and Bay Area. "As soon as I started dealing with Steve, I have been astounded by his business abilities and the operational savvy," stated NBCU Cable Entertainment and Cable Galleries chair Bonnie Hammer. "He's an ideal person to assist grow the studio into a much more vital resource for innovative programming both inside and outdoors the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment family."
